Pinewood Holiday Park is ideally situated as a base for the exploring of the West Dorset or East Devon areas. The West Dorset town of Lyme Regis lies some three miles away and remains a popular destination for holiday makers attracted to its unspoilt nature. The town contains small supermarkets and a range of smaller independent shops along with many pubs, cafes and restaurants. People can take in a wide range of leisure activities including fishing, golf, bowls and sailing to name just a few along with enjoying the beaches. Further along the coast there are the larger towns of Bridport and Weymouth.
The Pinewood site itself is well presented and maintained. It is open all year round and is set in a quiet location. Facilities on site include a large indoor heated swimming pool that can be used all year round. There is a further seasonal heated outdoor pool with children's paddling area. For children there is a play area and there is a laundrette for owners use. Allocated parking and further communal parking.
This particular chalet at Pinewood has been decorated internally with paint washed walls giving it a contemporary feel. The flooring is mainly laminate. The current owners have made the chalet 'wheelchair friendly'. This has involved the ramp access to the sun terrace, the widening of internal doors and the fitting of the wet room.
